An Assistant Pastor in was arrested on Sunday for impregnating a school girl.

The pastor, who is aligned to the Presbyterian Church of East Africa church in Kenya, was arrested by Police who had rushed to help stop a group of angry congregants and the public from lynching him, just as he was headed to preside over the day’s service.

 

“I acted quickly and saved the pastor from the angry mob who wanted to deal with him for impregnating the standard seven girl,” the police said.

 

The girl, 14, said the pastor in question was responsible for the pregnancy after her parents took her to hospital for the test two days ago.

 

The parents without hesitation reported the matter to the police who ambushed the pastor on his way to preside over a church service.

 

Police investigation are currently underway.
