“Efe Ambrose’s red card changed the game” – Burkina Faso’s coach

Burkina Faso celebrate_NigeriaPaul Put, the Belgian in charge of Burkina Faso, has admitted that Efe Ambrose’s red card, turned the game in favour of hihs side, as they netted a last-minute equaliser.
However, Put insisted that his side were well on top and would have at least gained a point, with their first half performance.
“I think maybe the red card changed the game a bit, but we were playing better after a poor first-half and putting Nigeria under pressure,” he told KickOffNigeria.com.
“It is a very good result for us, it feels like a win to draw against one of the favourites, and we will have a lot of confidence after this.
“Now the group is open. Anybody can qualify and we are confident we can be one of the teams to do so.”
Burkina Faso’s next game is against Ethiopia on Friday.
