By

Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that Wayne Rooney, has been suspended from penalty duties till further notice.
The England striker, missed from the spot against West Ham United in the third round of the FA Cup and Ryan Giggs stepped up to score in the 2nd minute when they faced Fulham in the fifth round.
Rooney has missed 10 penalties for the club already and Ferguson is not ready to take chances anymore.
“I think Ryan’s probably one of our best penalty takers, to be honest,” the manager told reporters after the match. “I think it’s fair that with Wayne missing the penalties he has, it was time to give him a break.
“He’ll come back to it, though, there’s no question about that.”
