The Most Powerful Photo Of Martin Luther King Jr. I've Ever Seen

In this picture, MLK Jr. removes a burnt cross someone had hammered into his lawn. There's something really haunting about the way he's nimbly pulling it out of the ground while his young son stands beside him. MLK had the heart of a lion and did more for the civil rights movement than almost any other figure in history. It is becoming more and more apparent that Martin Luther King Jr.'s death was one of the 20th century's greatest tragedies.
