The
Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation has banned some Music videos it
classified as Not To Be Broadcast (NTTB). In a statement released by the
broadcasting watchdog, it stated that the videos contain what it
termed 'Immoral and suggestive dance steps' with some featuring minors
in the banned videos..
An
example of the obscene music videos are Goldie's Ski Bo BO which
featured a minor with suggestive and immoral dance steps and Wande
Coal's Go Low which displayed nudity without any sense of decency.
P-square's Alingo almost did not make the list but for the intimate
dance scenes at the end of the musical video.
