Summer Michelle Hansen, 31, now faces 16 felony counts for alleged sex crimes involving five students
Summer Michelle Hansen, a former special education teacher, has been charged with sex crimes involving five underage boys, all students at the Southern California high school where she once taught.
Hansen, arrested in June, is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday on 16 felony counts, including unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor, unlawful oral copulation with a minor, and sending harmful matter to a minor. If convicted, she could face up to 13 years in state prison.
In a statement released Tuesday, the Riverside District Attorney's Office said the alleged crimes took place between May 2012 and May 2013, and occurred "in her classroom, in a utility room at the school, in her vehicle while parked near one victim’s home, and at another victim’s home." None of the victims were students that Hansen taught.
Hansen's attorney has maintained her innocence, and claims that the former teacher had her phone hacked, according to the Press-Enterprise. Court documents obtained by the newspaper tell a different story.
According to a Corona police declaration, one of Hansen's victims told a detective that the teacher had sent him "inappropriate text messages suggesting sexual contact" that culminated in the teacher offering him sex as a prize for doing well in a baseball game.
An investigation of Hansen was launched in June after a former student at Centennial High School came forward and told officials that he had a sexual relationship with the teacher.
According to the Press-Enterprise, that student "told police that while he was 18 and after he graduated, Hansen would send him sexual text messages and cellphone photos that showed her in her underwear. The former student also said two underage boys told him that they had had sex with Hansen."
During the course of their investigation, the police identified multiple victims under the age of 18.

PANIC: Five-Year-Old Girl Abducted At Redemption Camp (PHOTO)

The abduction of a five-year-old girl, Oluwaseun Ogungbemile, at the Redemption Camp of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, has thrown her parents into panic.
photo
It was learnt that the girl, in company with her parents, had gone to the camp at Kilometre 46 on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Ogun State, to attend the one-week annual convention of the church that ended on Sunday.
The girl, who is the youngest child of her parents, was last seen playing with two of her cousins on Friday, August 9, 2013.
The victim’s aunt, Omotade Odunowo, said that the matter had been reported to the police.
She said, “She (Oluwaseun) was staying at a rented chalet in the camp along with her parents. Around 10am on that day, she was seen with two of her younger cousins, who are between the ages of two and three.
“After sometime, we did not see her again. Due to the young ages of the little children who were with her at the time of her disappearance, we have not been able to know what happened exactly.”
Odunowo said all efforts to trace the victim’s whereabouts proved abortive and the family believed that she had been abducted.
She said the family had searched every nook and cranny of the camp and reported to the relevant authorities in RCCG, all to no avail.
She added that no one had called the family to demand a ransom.
Odunowo said, “We have been traumatised since then and cannot wait for the safe return of our daughter back home. We shall therefore be extremely grateful to receive any information that may lead to our reunion with Oluwaseun. She is adorable, smart and talks a lot.”
She said the girl’s parents had not been alright since the incident. She said the mother had refused to go back to work since her daughter went missing.
She said, “Oluwaseun’s mother has not left the Redemption Camp since the incident occurred. She is still hoping that the person that took her away would bring her back.”
When contacted on the telephone, the state police  command’s Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, confirmed the incident to our correspondent, adding that the matter was being investigated at the Redemption Camp Police Station.
“The parents of the victim said they came to the camp with eight children and one of them had gone missing. We have swung into action and we want to assure the family that the little girl will be found,” he said.
A security official at the church, who refused to identify himself, said the matter had been reported to the police.
He however refused to disclose further information, adding that it was not the wish of the church that the news of the abduction be leaked to members of the public.

Fan Jailed For Hugging Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo.
Cristiano Ronaldo.
The fan who was jailed for invading the pitch during the International Champions Cup match between Real Madrid and Chelsea to hug Cristiano Ronaldo last week has stressed that he has no regrets over his actions.
Ronald Gjoka, 19, ran onto the pitch in the 67th minute to embrace his idol, only to be arrested by local police and taken to jail for trespassing and disorderly conduct.
Gjoka spent the night in prison before he was allowed to leave the day after, yet he has stressed that the moment was worth the punishment.
“Honestly, first thing was look straight, find Cristiano and don’t look back. Just go,” Gjoka told Local10.
“I decided to add a little knee slide on it just for a little celebration. I think Ronaldo always does that celebration so I thought that he would find it funny, and he did, he gave it a little laugh.
“But after that, I gave him a big hug, told him you’re one of my biggest idols, always followed you and I said, ‘Please, Ronaldo, don’t let the cops take me,’ and that’s when Ronaldo gave me a very big hug.
“I got the opportunity to talk to Ronaldo. It was a unique opportunity and I had to take it. It was worth the detention.”
The Portugal international netted twice to help Madrid to a 3-1 win over Chelsea in last week’s encounter.

Doctor ordered to pay $3 Million After His Patient Died while Having Séx

The family of a Georgia man, who died when his heart stopped while having a three-way séx romp, was awarded a $3,000,000 payment by a jury, according to court proceedings.

Guillermo Martinez’s family was originally seeking $5 million in a medical malpractice case against a doctor, who did not warn him about having a threesome.

While members of the Gwinnett County jury sided with the family on Tuesday, they agreed to a smaller amount after finding Martinez was 40 percent responsible for his own death.

Martinez, a husband and father of two, was involved in a threesome with a friend and another woman, who was not his wife. He died March 12, 2009.

Martinez has gone to the Cardiovascular Group in Lawrenceville, Georgia, complaining of chest pains that shot into his arm.
A test was scheduled for eight days later, but the day before the test he decided to participate in the out of wedlock shenanigans.

His lawyers argued that assistant cardiologist forgot to tell Martinez to refrain from getting too physical, and refrain from having any sexual activity before the test was conducted.

Martinez's legal team said he had high blood pressure and his heart was at risk because of clogged arteries.
The trial began Monday in state civil court.

The doctor's lawyer said: "We're definitely going to appeal the verdict and sentence."

Nigeria is jinxed, cursed, Says Obasanjo

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo
The former president condemned younger generation of leaders.
While reviewing Nigeria’s history since independence, former President Olusegun Obasanjo said the country may have been cursed with poor and irresponsible leaders.
Mr. Obasanjo, who gave the keynote address at the 4th Annual Ibadan Sustainable Development Summit organised by Centre for Sustainable Development, University of Ibadan, in collaboration with African Sustainable Development Network, on Tuesday, said if Nigerians were yet to commend a leader after 53 years of independence, “Then we are jinxed and cursed; we should all go to hell.”
He also condemned the younger generation of leaders in the country, saying they lack integrity and probity and have failed their people woefully.
Making specific reference to his Vice President for eight years, Atiku Abubakar; former governor of Lagos State, Bola Tinubu; former Speaker, House of Representatives, Salisu Buhari; former Bayelsa State Governor, Deprieye Alamieyeseigha; and others as younger generation of leaders, the former President said Nigeria was not lucky even with them.
“We had some people who were under 50years in leadership positions. One of them was James Ibori, where is he today? One of them was Alamieyeseigha, where is he today? Lucky Igbinedion, where is he today?
“The youngest was the Speaker, (Salisu) Buhari; you can still recall what happened to him. You said Bola Tinubu is your master. What Buhari did was not anything worse than what Bola Tinubu did.
“We got them impeached. But in this part of the world some people covered up the other man. The man claimed he went to Government College, Ibadan but the governor (Oyo State) went to Government College and packed all the documents so that they would not know that he did not go there.
“I wanted someone who would succeed me so I took Atiku. Within a year, I started seeing the type of man Atiku is. And you want me to get him there?
“I once went to Tanzania because Julius Nyerere recognised Biafra. He told me not to mind his aides and others in government. They would say they have one house in town but their five year old sons and daughters would have houses all over.
“Some of you who are condemning the leadership would get there tomorrow and it will be a different story. Only very few are actually good.
“Abacha, my predecessor got $750m. Through our lawyer in Switzerland we recovered $1.25bn and the lawyer still said there is probably still another $1bn to be recovered [The figures didn't add up but that was what the former President said]. In 1979 we had 20 new ships specially built for Nigeria. When I came back 20 years after, the national shipping line had liquidated.
“The whole thing is not just about leadership. If we talk about good leadership you should also talk about good followers. If you talk about human right you should also talk about human duties and obligations.
“It is sad that after 53years of independence we have no leader that we can commend. The problem in Africa is that when one person takes over he would not see any good thing that his predecessor did. Let us condemn but with caution,” the former military ruler and two-term democractically elected president said.
The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ibadan, Isaac Adewole said he was worried about the fate that could befall the country as she holds her general elections in 2015.
“We have not raised question about the scenario where 35 people found it difficult to conduct credible election in this country,” the don said in reference to the election of the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum that has polarized Nigeria’s 36 state governors.

It’s True, Our Salaries Are Very Outrageous –A Serving Senator Finally Confesses

Nigerian Senate 1 Its True, Our Salaries Are Very Outrageous –A Serving Senator Finally Confesses
It baffles  that many Nigerians are getting themselves involved in criminal activities due to the poor salaries they collect monthly, and when such people are caught, they are punished. But what the government is paying these people cannot feed them and their family comfortably.
“Honestly, l think it’s unfair. I’m also guilty of it because l benefited from it as a senator. It’s unfair for us elite to arrogate so much of the country’s resources to ourselves and still expect economic development.”
Anyway, following the high secrecy surrounding the millions of Naira being paid to political office holders in Nigeria as against what the masses earn, a serving senator has finally opened up.
A serving senator has affirmed insinuations that their earnings are indeed outrageous. The senator, who made this disclosure to THISDAY in Abuja, said he is of the belief that his salary and those of his colleagues, is not justifiable.
The senator, who noted that the perceived outrageous salaries by senators were unnecessary plundering of the nation’s resources, confessed that for him to reject the jumbo pay would be viewed as madness having found himself within the system.
Furthermore, the senator (name withheld) said the jumbo pay is part of the reason the National Assembly’s intervention in the ongoing strike by ASUU did not yield any fruitful result.
According to him, members of the National Assembly Education Joint Committee lacked the effrontery to confront members of ASUU during recent meetings with them because of the consciousness of their seeming unmerited wages.
He said: “I believe what we earn is not justifiable. That is why ASUU is making unnecessary demands. I wonder why the federal government should reach an agreement with them on such demands. These are demands that are not made by lecturers anywhere in the world. If they are asking for well equipped libraries, laboratories or more conducive learning environment, it would have been understandable. But everything is about themselves.
“How can they be asking for extra pay because they have large classes? Is it not their responsibilities to teach whether a class is large or not? And in any case, who admitted the large class? But they are making these demands just because they know what we earn,” he added.
Also affirming this position, Senator Sola Akinyede, in a recent interview with THISDAY, said the executive should not only be blamed for high cost of governance, noting that the legislature also contributed largely to the problem. He added that the judiciary also has its own share of the blame.
Akinyede, who represented Ekiti South senatorial district in the Senate between 2007 and 2011, said he felt guilty having benefited from such unjustifiable pay as a senator.
“High cost of governance does not only affect the executive, it also affects the legislature and the judiciary. I think what we should do is that heads of the three organs of government at every level along with leaderships of political parties should sit down and agree on how to reduce the cost of governance,” he said.
Nigerian senators’ salaries have been a subject of controversy for years.
N2,484,245.50 as basic salary, a senator cruises home with N11 million as regular salaries month.
N27 million as quarterly allowances besides irregular allowances such as estacodes and duty allowances.
It was also alleged that the entire Senate leadership comprising 10 principal officers draw N1,024,000,000 as quarterly allowance.
Nigeria’s President and Senate President earn far higher than United States president, whose total salary per annum is $400,000.

Fani-Kayode who has written several articles to buttress his point over the undue encroachment of the Igbos into the South-west region of the country defended his stance saying he could not have been an ethnic bigot if he, at a time in his life, had engaged in intimate relationships with these women.

Read the full statement below:
Chief Femi Fani-Kayode hereby expresses his deepest regrets for mentioning the names of three distinguished Nigerian ladies that he was once associated with in his last article titled ”A Word For Those Who Say I am A Tribalist’‘.
He meant no harm by doing so and neither did he at any point make references to having had any sexual relations with any of these ladies when they were associated with him as is being suggested by some members of the public. He was simply trying to emphasise the fact that he has nothing against the Igbo people and that his friendship with these three ladies in particular over the years provided some evidence of that.

For the record he has not seen Madame Chioma Anasoh, Chief Adaobi Kate Uchegbu and Ambassador Bianca Onoh in many years and he admits that it was inappropiate for him to have mentioned their names in the essay, to use them as a point of reference in a public discussion or to make any references whatsoever to the nature of their past association. All references to them have been erased from the updated version of the essay.

Chief Fani-Kayode has reached two of the ladies concerned and he has personally conveyed his unreserved apology to them both and to their families for his indiscretion. He shall endeavour to reach the third lady to do the same in the next few days. Chief Fani-Kayode has nothing more to say on this matter and would prefer to remain focused on issues of national importance and not of a personal nature.
