She may be a 54-year-old mother-of-four, but Madonna certainly doesn’t seem ready to leave her raunchy side behind just yet.
Continuing her tradition of shocking and causing controversy with her live shows, the queen of pop proved she’s still got it as she puckered up to her toyboy lover on stage in Porto Alegre, Brazil.
The Like A Virgin hitmaker seemed to surprise Brahim Zaibat – who at 25, is almost 30 years her junior – with a saucy smooch while her gig was in full motion.

‘I’m excited to hear the direction of her new material, and hopefully come up with something that’s really special and really showcases her perspective,’ Miguel told the website.

Tragedy: Truck kills eight secondary school students in Ogun State

It was a festival of tears and lamentation in Itori village of Ogun State, when a granite-carrying truck rammed into students who were on their way from school on Wednesday.
DailyPost gathered that about eight students of Itori Comprehensive High School, located in Ewekoro Local Government Area of the State were feared dead in the ghastly accident.
An eyewitness said the truck, with registration number LAGOS XZ 628 AKD was coming from Abeokuta along the old Lagos – Abeokuta Road when it suddenly swerved off the road.
He added that security and rescue officials arrived very late to the accident scene.
The accident however stirred up violence which left several vehicles and property destroyed by angry mobs in the area.
The Itori Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Commission, Fatai Bakare, confirmed the accident adding that the driver had been handed over to the police.
DailyPost however gathered that the remains of the victims have been evacuated and an Armoured Personnel Carrier belonging to the Ogun State Police force was stationed in the area to restore peace and order.

Cold War Between Sheiks Bauchi And Gumi At Joint Wedding of VP Sambo’s Daughters Dampens His Northern Re-Unification Plans

Another competent source watching political activities of Vice President Namadi Sambo in Abuja and abroad has told SaharaReporters that the fallout in Kaduna at the weekend at his daughter’s wedding between famous Sheiks Dahiru Usman Bauchi and the fearless Ahmad Abubakar Gumi has further dampened the Vice-President’s hopes of achieving re-unification of several warring Islamic clergies in Northern Nigeria and extending his political mileage in the area.

Sambo, the source said, is still troubled by the aftermath of the altercations, in view of his slim political prominence in the North.

Not only was he embarrassed in all of the 2011 general elections, he also proved to be no factor in the recently-concluded local government elections in Kaduna State where, again, he lost even in his own his polling unit.

The source said, “He has been working hard to win big guys of Northern politics, particularly within the Muslim cycle and you can see that the likes of Buhari, Babangida, Atiku and others have been soft on him.  Hence he started spreading to the cleric cycles and you know bringing top Izala and Darika is not an easy task. And eventually it scuttles every other hard work of reuniting all feuding sides in the Muslim quarters. ”

Sambo, he further said, has suffered in several political and religious battles, beginning with accusations of betraying Kaduna Muslims by accepting to be Vice President, in the process creating the vacuum that led to a Christian becoming executive governor of Kaduna state for the first time in its history.  He has also failed allegations from some prominent Northern Muslims of actually hailing originally from Auchi, Edo State, and not being a full-fledged Northerner.

“Go and study it, is Sambo a Hausa man or Fulani man? His real identity is shrouded in secrecy, it has no definite answer. Yes, his wife is from Kano and mother Zaria, but who has cleared the air?

He is also suffering of being novice in Northern politics and badly being surrounded by inept power hungry cabals, who are only trading in him as political merchandise. I am afraid, his case may be deadly than that of Atiku because, Jonathan and his power brokers can crush him and sacrifice him without soft landing base.”

With reference to what led to Gumi’s lashing of Sheik Bauchi, our source explained: “Bauchi recited ‘Salatil Fatih’ and Gumi challenged him on why he will recite that in Sultan Bello Mosque, knowing that it is Izala base.  Dahiru Bauchi’s followers were there and got irked, the same it was with Izala followers, who were behind Gumi. It is a decades of cold war between the father of Gumi, late Sheik Gumi and Sheik Bauch that was just renewed in Sambo's children function.”

Prior to the confrontation between the two religious figures, Sambo was already in another presidential palace cold war with President Jonathan, who, despite knowing for months of the forthcoming wedding of Sambo’s daughters, somehow decided to bury his brother on the same day.

Man kicks wife out after 28 years of marriage for lack of respect

Tired of his wife’s alleged stubbornness and lack of respect for him as the head of the house, a 68-year old man, Akibu Ibitoye, of Olulande Area, Ilorin, on Monday dragged his wife, Mariam Arinola to an Ilorin Customary Court to formerly dissolve their 28 year-old marriage.
Ibitoye told the court that their marriage, which was contracted in 1984 was blessed with three children, Munirat, Suleiman and Mutiyat, aged 26, 23, and 19 respectively.
Giving his reasons for such a degrading action after over two decades as a couple, irritated Ibitoye told the court that his wife, had not been submissive and had a dominant attitude in the home, claiming she also threatened to harm him and his new wife, should they flout her orders.
In his evidence, the father of two lamented that he has since lost his authority in his own home. “I have lost my authority as the head of the house because my wife always takes laws into her hand. Her rude behavior forced me into marrying a second woman in 2010 since I have lost control of my house to her. I have no say as the head of the family.”
In conclusion, he urged the honorable court to dissolve the marriage and give him peace of mind and protect his new wife.
Meanwhile, contrary to her estranged husband’s claims, Mariam claimed the reverse was the case, “since my husband married another woman, his attitude towards me changed. That was why I refused to take orders from him anymore,’’ she said.
However, the remorseful woman pleaded with the court to give her time to make some amendments and adjustments with her husband.
After listening to both parties, the Presiding judge, Mr Ibrahim Abdulquadri, adjourned the case to Dec. 20, for further hearing.

Patience Jonathan In Controversy For Dressing Inappropriately To Brother-In-Law's Burial

The burial ceremony of president Jonathan’s younger brother, Chief Meni Jonathan in Otuoke, Bayelsa state last Saturday, December 8th, has come and gone but tongues are wagging over the first lady, Dame Patience Jonathan’s choice of outfit for the solemn occasion.

The first lady was dressed in a black coloured gown with heavy gold embroidery and head gear (gele) to match, heavy make-up and decked in jeweleries in sharp contrast to her husband, President Jonathan, who was decked in a simple black long sleeve shirt, navy blue trousers with a face cap to match.
Now, not that there’s a particular dress code for burial ceremonies, the grief and sadness in the air makes it a fashion faux pas to be dressed elegantly or heavily accessorized as our own first lady – a simple plain black gown without designs or embroidery with a smaller head cover should’ve been appropriate and the make up should’ve been toned down a bit; it is a burial (her brother-in-law’s for that matter) not wedding or naming ceremony.
But hey! She is the first lady of the Federal Republic and moreso, she is Patience Jonathan…

Strange: Unknown Person Splashes N1 Million Pound Sterling on Kings College, Edo College

In what can only be described as a mysterious but welcome development, an anonymous donor has given the sum of one million pounds sterling (about N250 million) to Kings College, Lagos, and Edo College, Benin, the British-Nigeria Education Trust (BNET) has said.
This was made know on Wednesday in London by the chairman of the Trust, David Reeves, who said that the donation was for the upgrade of the two schools. Mr. Reeves, who was speaking at a reception organised by the Nigerian High Commission for BNET, a charity, said that the donor specifically requested for the money to be spent on those schools.
His words, “We have been most encouraged by a recent anonymous donation of one million pounds sterling; the donor has charged us with negotiating the use of this very generous amount of money with two of the major schools in Nigeria… The schools are Kings College in Lagos and Edo College in Benin,” he said.
He continues: “We are already in discussion with them and hope to identify a major project in each of them,” Mr. Reeves said. He also added that part of the money would be set aside for scholarship schemes for the less privileged students.
