Does penis size matter? This ‘superhung’ actor weighs in

by Jonah Falcon

I’ve found that regardless of size, what makes a penis hot is the guy it’s attached to.
I understand as well as anyone the obsession with penis size, big and small. Much has been written on this site about my own size, and I’ve experienced the fascination directed at me since the start of puberty. Despite the insistence of “size doesn’t matter,” perception is reality for most.
(Ironically, many superhung guys learn to use the motion of the ocean along with the size of the boat simply because they’ve been afforded so many opportunities to practice with live partners.)
My own opinion has been that psychology plays more of a part with penis size during sex than anything else. The conceptualization of something more than twice normal stretching them wide is more arousing than the actual penetration; it’s basically mental foreplay during intercourse, enhancing the actual physical stimulation. Women who prefer small penises probably use that same mental stimulation of a discreet member entering them.
In essence, it’s all in the head.
In the middle of this, Dutch sex site SingleSex has run a “most beautiful penis” contest (what the qualifiers were baffle me — smooth skin? foreskin looseness? presence of big vein on the dorsal side?), and has now started a “smallest penis” contest.
Naturally, the site couches the contest in the interests of men’s mental well-being, claiming: “It’s a competition which is at the core of manhood, the most important thing for a man. There are so many unhappy men out there, who think you have to have a giant penis, but it’s not normal to have a huge one.”
I’m not sure if they’re being condescending or insulting.
How will this make them better people or sex partners? Is trying to win a size contest a way to engender self-esteem? If anything, this will make guys who are insecure about their size even more so. The guys who enter the contest already have enough pride in their own organ.
The freak show atmosphere that SingleSex is engendering isn’t going to make small guys feel good about themselves. (Can you imagine a guy being told by his buddy, “Hey, I’ve seen your dick — it’s pretty tiny. Go enter the contest and get a free iPad, man!” Yeesh.)
I’ve found that regardless of size, what makes a penis hot is the guy it’s attached to. I get just as many compliments over my eye color as I do my size. (It helps that I’m allowed to show my eyes off in public.) The thing that’ll get a guy with any size excited is a girl (or guy — I’m not judging) telling them how turned on he’s making them. Preferably with hands exploring downward.
The reverse is true, too. Women tend to get excited over responsible penises that react favorably in their presence. People like to feel like they turn the other person on, and vice versa. They don’t need the “small penises are exciting, too!” spiel. All penises are exciting, regardless of size.
Unless you’re not into penises and guys at all. But that’s a whole other topic.

Dana crash report: NAAPE defends N/Assembly

 by  Shola Adekola -Lagos
AGAINST the bashing being received by the National Assembly from various aviation key players over the call by the lawmakers for the revocation of AOC of  the Dana Air and the removal of the director-general of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA),   Dr Harold Demuren, over the June 3, 2012 crash, pilots and aircraft engineers in aviation sector have thrown their weight behind the lawmakers.
In a statement issued by the umbrella body of the two professionals, the National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers (NAAPE) and signed by its president, Mr  Isaac Balami, the body argued that contrary to the notion that the lawmakers were not competent to investigate the crash, the National Assembly actually had the power to do so.
According to NAAPE: “First of all, it should be well understood that International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) recognises the legislature of each affiliate country as an important stakeholder in the business of aviation generally and specifically recognises the legislature to play parallel role in matters such as the one at hand.”
“This is because ICAO recognises that national interest has a place in the aviation scheme of things and that regulations are products of legislation, such as the NCAA Act.
Therefore,  involvement of the National Assembly in the matter is definitely not out of order.
“Moreover, the National Assembly has oversight responsibility over the Ministry of Aviation and its affairs. It, therefore, does not make sense for anyone to consider their involvement with the Dana crash as meddlesomeness,” NAAAPE said.
NAAPE’ s reaction is coming after the joint aviation committees of the two chambers indicted the NCAA’s  Director-general over the Dana crash which claimed over 160 lives.
The joint committees after their investigations had called on the government to revoke the operating license of Dana Air and to remove the Director-General of the NCAA.
Following the submission of the aviation committees’ report to the general assembly, key players in the sector had accused the lawmakers of incompetency in probing crashes.
In defending the lawmakers, the professional body explained that the lawmakers came out with their findings after they carried out painstaking investigation into the crash, which involved open and private hearings.
“The conclusions of the Committees were gleaned from presentations by professionals and relevant stakeholders. It would therefore amount to betrayal of sorts for those who supplied such information to the committee to turn round and accuse the committees of using same information”, NAAPE added.

Keshi and other Boastful Nigerians Warned to Stop “playing risky mouth football”

keshi_and_yobo976565A prominent Nigerian sportsman, Pa John Ojidoh has expressed his disappointment at the way that Nigerians have suddenly become boastful about the upcoming Nations Cup quarter final match against Ivory Coast. And sadly, he says, Stephen Keshi has joined them.
The 86-year-old former football and track and field coach said: “My son, Keshi, his crew, players and other Nigerians are playing risky mouth football. They should shut up and take everybody by surprise. Skill and luck win matches not name or wishes. The 2013 Nations Cup is full of surprises like Cape Verde and Burkina Faso… It will not be over until it is over. So, let’s pray and be ready to accept the result that comes our way. What belongs to all belongs to none. The winner of Sunday’s match isn’t necessarily the ordained winner of the Cup.”
However, the Ivoirians, on their own part, have been treating their Nigerian counterparts with some level of respect. In this regard, Ivoirian striker, Didier Drogba, quickly comes to mind. Drogba has opined that he expects the game against the Super Eagles to be a tough one, even though his country has been tipped as one of the favorits to win the tournament.

Zane McFarland, 2-Year-Old, Shielded From Tornado By Great-Grandma Betty Stewart

One great-grandma isn't going to let a little thing like a tornado hurt her great-grandson.
On Wednesday, a powerful twister hit Gordon County, Ga., injuring eight people, including 2-year-old Zane McFarland. According to NBC 11, the toddler's injuries could have been more serious if not for his heroic great-grandmother, 79-year-old Betty Stewart.
"She fought a tornado, and she won," said Stewart's nephew, Kenneth Hayes.
As the storm approached, Stewart covered her great-grandson in a quilt and shielded his body with her own, Hayes told WSB. Moments later, the home rose from its foundation, took flight and smashed against two trees.
Meanwhile, Stewart and the boy were also airborne. According to Fox 5, a paramedic found them while clearing debris on Highway 53.
Both received treatment at Chattanooga hospitals, NBC 11 reported. On Thursday, Zane smiled in spite of his broken leg, which requires a cast from his ribs to his knees.
"He's a miracle baby," Daren McFarland, Zane's father, told Fox 5. "He was born two months early and he fought through that and now he's fighting through this."
Stewart remained in critical condition Thursday, but is expected to survive. Before entering surgery, she asked repeatedly for updates on her grandson, Hayes told WSB.

Michelle Williams: No Destiny Child's Reunion at Super Bowl

Band member debunks reports of upcoming performance.

Michelle Williams
Michelle Williams has revealed that the reputed Destiny's Child reunion performance at this year's Super Bowl is not going to happen. As one third of the trio, Williams explained in an interview with WRUG radio that the group will not be reuniting at the Mercedes Super Dome in New Orleans on Feb. 3. The singer was quoted telling the station, "It is rumored. I'm gonna be in the musical Fela! I hate to disappoint the people and tell them that it's not true."
This comes as shocking news to the public since numerous reports have stated the contrary, and an alleged set list was released, including some Destiny’s Child favorites. This also seemed like the next likely step for the group, considering the recent release of their song “Nuclear” and their new album, Love Songs, set to drop tomorrow. Fans will surely be disappointed by the news; Destiny’s Child has not performed live since the 2006 NBA All-Star Game, at which they sang "The Star Spangled Banner."
It looks like Beyoncé will take the stage as a one woman act, like usual. However, the contents of her performance are under much speculation, seeing that it was reported by many that the show would feature new Bey material. Since no new Beyoncé tunes have hit the airwaves, is it safe to say that this too is rumor?
Whatever happens during the halftime show, one thing’s certain — after Lady Bey’s inauguration performance, everyone will be watching to see whether or not she’ll be lip synching.
