Following on the heels of controversy that the All Progressive Grand
Alliance (APGA) is not part of the coalition opposition merger talks,
Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state has told newsmen that the fact
that there are dissenting voices from some quarters does not mean that
APGA was not part of the merger.
“The fact is that APGA cannot be an exception in this merger talks.
If the ACN, ANPP, CPC that were all branded as ethnic parties are now in
the new party, APGA cannot be an exception.
“The truth is that there is APGA PDP, there is APGA APGA; it is the
APGA PDP that is saying they are not part of the merger,” Okorocha said.
