Professor Bamitale Omole
According to the latest Webometric Ranking of world universities
released on February 6, the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University,
Ile-Ife, Osun state has been rated the first and the best in
Nigeria and the 14th in the world.
The Public Relations Officer of the University, Mr. Abiodun Olarewaju, disclosed this in his office recently.
He said the latest ranking reflects the progress and achievements of the current University
Vice Chancellor, Professor Bamitale Omole
Professor Omole pledged to do all within his administrative power and
academic experience to further reposition the institution to meet with
the global standard.
