Former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, has declared that nobody is above the law in the collective drive to ensure compliance with traffic rules and regulations in Nigeria.Speaking after processing his driver’s license at the Abuja national headquarters of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Obasanjo said, “If I have to drive, I must have a valid driver’s license like others. That informed my visit. We should note that the driver’s licence serves other purposes beyond driving of a vehicle and also useful outside the country such as certification of somebody’s identity.”
He added, “Anybody who wants to be law abiding must go through this process because you cannot be bigger than the law, no matter your political position or social status. You must pass through this process unless you are not ready to be law abiding”
