I have watched with desmayed a condemnable and barbaric act of name calling as well as an insult on the personality of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari by some gang of hyenius elements at Abuja House in London. It rather unfortunate that this Protest is led by Reno Omokri who spent all his preaching hatred and division among Nigerians as his tweets proved his hate speech against the President ,his tribes and his region .
The sudden appearance of Saratu Audu a daughter of the former Nigerian Minister and a reknown Professor from Kaduna State who died and left a lasting legacies that are anchored on peace building in Nigeria is not only shocking but disturbing. It is expected that she can live to propagate the legacies preached and left behind by her father. What she does was totally against her moral upbringing and her Northern culture that always has respect for elders and constituted authorities.Her choice of words and her insultive language against the Nigerian President is not only barbaric but condemnable.
This carnage was another evil plan against the country that is battling head and nail to fix its internal challenges and this is not the way to go as no responsible Nigerian with the true spirit of Patriotism will tolerate this.It is shocking that a Protest was coordinated to humiliate the Nigerian President in London for Political reasons and this has no place in our Democratic principles and core values. There is better and civilised ways to call the President to order.In doing so ,Let remember that the right of others begin where ours end and let us be guided always for acting.
The Protest was coordinated by Reno Omokri who has domesticated his activism towards truncating the culture, religion and tribes as well as the unity and oneness of the country Nigeria.The Protest was another device means to incite Nigerians against each other and set the country into flames.This actions of these mindless groups led by Omokri spoke in high volume why Nigeria may hardly grow beyond this level because of our naive thinking that is always guided by our ecthnic,religion and regional colouration instead of our National consience.
As a trained Politician,I have always dedicated my time,energy and resources towards the upliftment of one Nigeria propagating justice, fairness and equity for all Nigerians irrespective of their identities.It is high time ,Nigerians stand against these mindless groups who are out to destroy our ordeals as a people that have lived together for decades. Omokri's Personal hatred against the President is open and it is high time Nigerians know their enemies. I have issues which we know the President is not doing and fixing as expected but we have chosen platforms to call his attention but verbal insults was another means of attacking the President personality rather than his failure.
We should not be this myopic and naive.
