PASTOR MATHEW ASHIMOLOWO DRAGS TO COURT FOR ALLEGEDLY STEALING 65 ACRES OF LAND

Pastor Ashimolowo
Founder and the General overseer of Kingsway International Christian Centre, KICC, Senior Pastor Mathew Ashimolowo is embroiled in a new conflict, orijoreporters can reveal.
At one time, the stylish Pastor whose church’s headquarter is in United Kingdom had trouble with the British authority over alleged fraudulent activities including using the church credit card to buy a vacation home in Florida in United States, and also got 120,000 pounds to celebrate his birthday.
At another time, KICC was investigated by the Charity Commission for fraud, which discovered tsunami of financial irregularities in the church. Guilty as charged, Pastor Mathew was ordered to pay 200,000 pounds back to the church’s coffer.
This time around, Pastor Mathew is in deep trouble again. He has been dragged before Justice Akinyemi of Abeokuta High Court back home, for allegedly stealing 65 acres of land belonging to Taiwo Ijaosan and Olosunde families. It happened that Pastor Mathew’s church bought 35 acres of land from the two families in Ofada town in Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State in 1987 for N80 thousand per acre.
But it came as a bit of a shock to the landowners when the Pastor allegedly went behind them with his surveyor, and property agent, one Mr. Olokodana who is now late to cede 65 other acres to the church, and made it a hundred acres.
Initially there was nothing to worry about as the highly revered man-of-God promised the landowners that he was going to pay the difference. And they waited with bated breath for that moment when Pastor Mathew would pay for the 65 acres his church acquired through the back door. But that moment never came. Instead, he was just playing pranks.
And after several years of waiting, the landowners who were angry with Pastor Mathew recently decided to drag him and his church, KICC before the law court. The case, which is yet to come up for hearing is before Justice Akinyemi in Court 5 at Abeokuta High Court.

  1. I am not surprised at the least. This false preacher whose fruits are obviously rotten would soon get what is coming to him.
He was found guilty by the UK charity commission but whilst acknowledging his guilt privately to the UK government and paying back the stolen money, he has denied them to his congregation claiming it was due to racism and the devil at work! The facts were there and indisputable. He stole from the poor whom he repeatedly nagged into paying tithes and offerings!

He is amassing personal wealth and building his financial kingdom whilst his naive fearful congregation will not read their Bibles and see the lies he proclaims, and see his worldly, proud, greedy and selfish way of living.

Being a motivational speaker does not equate to holiness!
Its only Nigerians that would be cheated and lied to and not rise up and ask real questions.

I have seen him preach and its all about money. He is so deep in his own worldly filth that he is incapable of changing unless he truly confesses and returns all the money he stole.

Some people will staunchly defend him without evidence to disprove what he is accused of. Their only evidence is because he professes to be a man of God, he must be right and you cannot criticise them. So sad!

Nigerians flock to London but will not integrate the way of Londoners when it comes to their preachers. They need to fight for the truth and challenge people like Ashimolowo.

    1. Your comment is quite timely and apt at a time Nigerians have summoned the courage to speak up against MOG. Nigerians live in abject poverty while the MOG and their families live in obscence affluence.
