LeBron James Poised to Be Youngest to Score 20,000 Points
LeBron James's stream of accolades is set to continue Wednesday if the Miami Heat player scores his 20,000th point, making him the youngest pro-baller to hit the milestone.

The 28-year-old power forward is 18 points away from the mark, which he's most likely to hit when the Heat takes on the Golden State Warriors.

So far, the title belongs to Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant, who scored his 20,000th point when he was 29 years old. Wilt Chamberlain and Michael Jordan also reached the milestone before they turned 30.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar currently holds the NBA record on the all-time scoring list with 38,387 points, a feat James says he's not sure he wants to actively take on.
