Advertising Guru, May Nzeribe, Is Dead Posted: November 19, 2012 - 18:51 May Nzeribe, an icon of Nigeria’s advertising industry, has died in the United Kingdom. Dr. Nzeribe was reportedly flown abroad for treatment for an undisclosed ailment last month soon after he published a book on the industry he loved, “Advertising Ethics and Regulation in Nigeria: The Challenges.” The industry veteran was the brain behind the firm, Sunrise d’Arcy. He was also one of the brains behind the Advertising Practitioners Council of Niger (APCON). He served on the boards and panels of several international and domestic advertising bodies.
