Or perhaps just away from the window in an atmospheric film noir, whatever mystery Alicia Keys managed to convey in this stunning black dress… it was certainly beguiling.
The Girl on Fire, who turned 32 today Madrid’s 40 Principles Awards, was like a blast from the past in the stunning fitted gown that tapered into an interesting diaphanous bodice that looked a bit like a bra.

attire for the 40 Principles Awards Photocall held at El Palacio de los

Her hair was pure ’60s and set off nicely with a pair of chain-link earrings.
And unlike Taylor Swift, who changed from her stunning Kaufman Franco gown into preppy brogues and sweater, Keys took her sultry look onto the stage.
The mother-of-one swapped her dress for trousers but kept the theme of the look by wearing a sheer black top that showed her bra while she performed and accepted the rather impressive Best US Composer of the Last Decade award.
